Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Solar Chronograph
In the 1960s, Seiko presented highly precise timepieces for international sporting events and revolutionized chronograph technology with the Speedtimer 1969 and the Calibre 6139 – the first automatic chronograph with a column wheel and vertical clutch. In 2021, the Prospex solar chronograph, inspired by the original, followed: The Calibre V192 offers a 24-hour display, 60-minute chronograph, power reserve indicator, and a sandblasted dial for optimal legibility. The case measures 39 mm, the bracelet combines fine and smooth polishing, and the domed sapphire crystal adds modern elegance while remaining true to the retro design.
